European Open⚠️ 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 – 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡! ⚠️ This is the second year of the European Open which is a pairs competition open to bowlers throughout the world. The European Open will be held at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd July. Last year was a huge success with 120 pairs competing in the tournament and we are aiming for the same number of entries in 2023! Our annual National Championships also commence on Sunday 23rd July, so this is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to compete on the greens at Northfield before the national finals get underway. Garry Brown and Kevin Wallace GOLD MEDAL interviewWe spoke to Garry Brown and Kevin Wallace after their unforgettable gold medal in the Para Men’s Pairs B6-B8 for #TeamScotland at #Birmingham2022. There are not too many words to describe Garry and Kevin’s display other than the perfect team performance. Scotland’s pair were in inspired form throughout their final against Australia, eventually winning 16-7 and ensuring a first gold for Scottish Para Lawn Bowls since Manchester 2022.
