The Short Mat Players Tour was founded in 2011 by Craig Burgess and Simon Pridham. Now with fellow directors Philip Mills and Stephen Gale on board, the team has over 70 years of experience in the world of bowls, especially Short Mat.

The aim of the Short Mat Players Tour is to promote the sport and organise world class Short Mat competitions that are suitable for all players to enter, from beginners to World Champions. Players of any ability, age, disability, nationality and gender are welcome.

The home venue is Falcon IBC.
